Bernardo Silva will stay at Man City - Soriano

It seems that Silva is interested in leaving City, but the club does not allow the transfer.

Manchester City

chief executive Ferran Soriano believes

Bernardo Silva

will stay at Manchester City despite

Barcelona

's offer.

Barcelona are trying to close the gap on Real Madrid, who won the Champions League and La Liga last season, and have signed Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie, and are trying to sign Marcos Alonso from Chelsea. However, the Blaugrana also tried to recruit Silva, and the Portuguese midfielder did not rule out the possibility of leaving the club. However, Soriano believes that Silva will stay at the Etihad Stadium and ruled out the possibility of him leaving.

He told El Chiringuito de Jugones :

"Of course, I can say that Bernardo Silva will stay at Man City."

Pep Guardiola also announced his desire to keep Silva on several occasions. He made 50 appearances for City last season, only Joao Cancelo outnumbered him with 52 games, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.
