Guardiola won't block Bernardo Silva's transfer to Barcelona

It seems that the conditions for Silva's departure and joining Barcelona are slowly being prepared.

Manchester City

manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that he will not block the transfer of

Bernardo Silva

because he does not want anyone in his team to be upset.

Barcelona

has been monitoring Bernardo Silva for a long time and has held talks with the player. Silva also announced to the club in 2020 that he intends to leave and made efforts in the summer of last year, but it is said that in the current summer, he announced to the club that he wants to spend the next season in another team. Although City chief executive Ferran Soriano had recently announced that they would oppose Silva's departure, Pep has claimed that he does not want a player to be unhappy with his team.

Pep said:

“He is our player. We want him to be with us because he is very important. Having said that, I don't want anyone to be unhappy.

“But I don't want him to leave because he is a superlative player. As a player and as a person, he is one of the best I have ever had. In any competition he is the best player. If an offer arrives there are seven days left and if Bernardo leaves, we would have to go to the market and not it's easy.

“Having said that, Bernardo likes Barcelona a lot.”
