Mount: "The most important for me is to gain your trust"
Manchester United's new number 7 is Mason Mount.
Mason Mount joined Manchester United from
Chelseawith a 5-year contract. He will wear the number 7 jersey in his new team. Cristiano Ronaldo previously wore the number 7 before him.
Mount talked about wearing the number 7 jersey in an interview with the official website of Manchester United.
“I know the history and understand the responsibility that comes with this shirt,”
he said.
“The most important for me is to gain your trust and I will work hard to do that. I won’t let you down Reds!”
Last season, he scored three goals for Chelsea in 24 Premier League matches. Mount has also played 36 matches for the England national team.
