Amsterdam has managed to sign a new player from English club

The Ajax club has published an official statement announcing that it has agreed with Manchester City to include the 19-year-old Portuguese young player, Carlos Borges.

In his statement, Ajax indicated that the value of the deal had reached 14 million euros, which he would pay to the European champion, with the possibility of reaching 19 million euros according to the variables.

The striker who will have the name "Forbes" on the back of his shirt, has signed a contract until June 30, 2028.

The young Portuguese player had a contract with the English club until 2026, but Ajax succeeded in persuading the latter to abandon him this summer.

Borges has been a Man City junior since 2014, and he played with the under-21 team last season to be crowned with the award for best player in Premier League 2.
